Shamila Bryan ~ Trainee Solicitor
Shamila joined Dowse & Co in August 2018 as Trainee Solicitor starting in the civil litigation department which comprises of seats in housing and personal injury law. Before joining Dowse, Shamila worked in various solicitors firms dealing with a mix of legal aid and privately funded clients. She has experience working as a mental health paralegal, representing vulnerable individuals and advocating for their rights. Shamila has also spent time working in a mortgage repossessions department and in personal injury firm specialising in in RTA claims.
Shamila obtained her undergraduate law degree at University of Bedfordshire in 2014 and went on to complete her LPC together with her Masters in Professional Practice, at University of Law, in 2018, gaining a Merit overall.
During her training contract so far, Shamila has been involved in Housing and Personal Injury Law cases. She is particularly familiar with particular matters surrounding possession, homelessness, disrepair and anti-social behaviour cases.
