Sophia holds a BA Honours degree in Sociology and an MA in Social and Political Thought from Sussex University. Sophia’s first career was as a teacher heading a social sciences department at a London comprehensive school and then as a teacher at an FE college.
Sophia joined Dowse & Co in 2009 as a paralegal before commencing a training contract with the firm in 2010. She studied for her law conversion whilst still teaching achieving a Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course and qualifying as a solicitor May 2012.
Specialisation:
Family Law, in particular public law (care proceedings) and private law children cases (contact and residence), Domestic Abuse and Divorce.
Membership:
Sophia is a member of Resolution.
